On Friday September 20, 2024, we held our first annual "Senior" Prom for our sweet friends at North Port Pines Assisted Living facility. We visit the Pines each month to play games, make crafts and socialize with the residents. We've done this since February 2019, but our Youth Advisory Board decided that a prom would be fun, and boy were they right! With the help of Steve and Amy Leclerc we collected over 100 gowns and suits for the residents to choose from. Modern Woodmen of America donated flowers and Do the Happy Bounce came out with their new ice cream truck and donated dessert! We sang and danced the night away! Our Next event at North Port Pines will be Trick or Treating on Halloween at 5:30pm. Please email to RSVP.
