How can children change the community? Honestly, in more ways than even I thought possible! in just one year, our amazing youth volunteers...
-Made 12 visits to North Port Pines assisted living facility to create crafts and play games with the residents
-Visited the fire and police departments numerous times with gifts and cards
-Made 25 blankets for Project Linus
-Threw a fundraiser for the Animal Welfare League
-Purchased new suitcases and filled them with essentials for children in foster care
-Threw a cornhole fundraiser for a local family where mom is battling cancer
-Held an Easter Egg hunt for the children at Our Mother's House shelter
-Sponsored a teen basketball team
-Threw a BINGO fundraiser for a local child with Leukemia
-Took a CPR class
-Helped socialize service dogs from Always a Warrior Foundation
-Threw numerous Peanut Butter and Jelly drives, collecting over 1000 jars for local children in need
-Collected over 75 toys for Golisano Children's Hospital
-Put together over 100 Busy Bags for the children at Golisano's
-1 beach clean up
-1 park clean up
-Back to school clothing drive
-Collected and delivered donations to both Octagon Wildlife Center and Peace River Wildlife Center
-Made weighted blankets and created fidget toys for children with sensory disorders
-Held a 106th birthday for a local lady
-Volunteered at a local food bank
-Sent supplies and cards to the Bahamas after natural disasters
-Made meals each month for local families battling cancer (Project RAE)
-Began service clubs, Mini Movers at 7 local schools
-Collected over 50 new backpacks and stuffed them with toys for Christmas for children in need
-Made toys and blankets for the pups at Rescue Garage
-Held 2 Thanksgiving food drives
-Made over 50 bag lunches for local homeless
